My question is am I going to gain anything by connecting my XD Cam HD deck's HD-SDI output through my Blackmagic Design Decklink Pro and capture that way? I currently ingest using the XD Cam HD import utility. One disadvantage is that my XD Cam deck is locked in FAM mode and I can't just pop in a disc to see what's on it.
